Description
Hello!
We are looking for a new person to take over a room in our house share as the person currently renting the room is moving in with their partner. Current flatmates are four sociable and kind professionals.
The spacious top-floor bedroom will become available from the 1st of December - potentially earlier.
**The Room**
The room is situated on the second floor and comes with a double bed and mattress, as well as a built-in desk and wardrobe. Stairs required to reach both bedroom and bathroom. Two large, sky-light windows let in a ton of daylight and the tenant will have the (shared) bathroom on the same floor, directly adjacent. Top floor bathroom shared with two of the other tenants - 2.5 bathrooms for the house in total, with a shared toilet on the ground floor. Windows in the bedroom face the street.
**The House**
Our home has a relaxed vibe, with a sociable layout. It includes: a comfortable living/dining room area, a spacious kitchen with a breakfast bar (we use this room the most), 2 modern bathrooms (one with shower, the other with bath/shower), and an additional WC on the ground floor. French doors in the kitchen open out onto a back garden/patio (extra points if you have a green thumb!).
**More about us**
Our shared interests include: cooking, bingeing the latest TV/Streaming series/movies, theatre, exhibitions, stand-up comedy, drinking wine, and the occasional boogie. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly household and expect the same of the person who moves in. We enjoy hanging out together, and often chat in the evenings if we’re in cooking dinner at the same time, but also like a bit of *me* time as well. We are all in our 30s and professionals, with jobs ranging from teaching to marketing to TV development.
**Location**
The house is ideally located - less than a 6-minute walk from Tottenham Hale station, which is very well connected to Central and East London:
- 11 mins to King’s Cross St Pancras
- 15 mins to Oxford Circus
- 17 mins to Liverpool Street
- 35 mins to Stansted Airport
A short 2 minute walk will get you to the Tottenham Retail Park that has a heap of stores including: Lidl, Boots, Iceland, and TK Maxx!
It's a short 6 minute walk to the local Tesco Express or at 10 minute walk over to the Tesco Superstore on the Seven Sisters high road.
There are a few cool places nearby including True Craft (for delicious sourdough pizzas and more beers!).
Walthamstow Marshes, Wetlands and the Canal network are also very close, if you like going for walks and running.
Bills work out at about £100 each per month for: electricity, gas, water, Council tax (band B), TV license, Virgin Media broadband internet (wireless available throughout the house) but can increase during the winter months..
**About You**
We are looking for someone in their 30s who is sociable, clean, and respectful of shared spaces. We would prefer to find a female-identifying person to balance the house, but welcome interest from all parties. Someone who is friendly to the diverse makeup of the house - including LGBTQ+ identities, people of colour, and people with disabilities - is a must. We're looking for someone who wants to contribute to the positive house dynamic and make this their home.

Get in touch if you're interested and tell us about yourself (messages without any personal info will not be taken into consideration). We're sorry if we don't get back to you but given the high volume of responses, we won't be able to answer everyone. Thanks!
