ABOUT THE PLACE:
We have a large downstairs communal area with a pool table, football table, piano and bar, there is an upstairs mezzanine/second lounge, 3 showers, 1 bath, and 3 toilets, an exercise/art room with some equipment and a mirror wall and even a spare room for guests.
We have two outside spaces where we like to hang out, have drinks and sunbathe in the summer, including a decking area with plenty of plants and an additional little sun trap at the side of the house. We also have access to the communal bike shed if needed. The room comes unfurnished and you can decorate the room however you wish.
The room is on the first floor of the house. There is no lift so the room is accessible only by stairs. There is a step to get into the property, 15 steps to get to the 1st floor and then an additional 2 steps to get to both the bedroom and the bathroom. There are also 2 toilets/showers on the ground floor. There is no intercom system at the property. Please note that we don’t smoke in any of the communal indoor areas in the house or the bedrooms.
Rent is £800 a month (including bills and a cleaner) + £11 kitty for cleaning supplies. First and last month’s payment is due before moving in as well as a refundable £50 deposit.
Universal Credit is accepted but all new tenants are required to provide proof of income before moving in (whether that is employment or UC).

There weren't the options on the listing to add accurate numbers but there are 13 of us total :) We are a fun and friendly bunch and a spectrum of genders all in our 20s and 30s. Lots of us dabble in multiple different professions including people who work in the world of gardening, theatre, music, set design, comedy, painting, rigging, writing, hospitality and tech.
We’re all pretty sociable and while everyone has different schedules and lives outside the house, we do socialise together a fair bit. We love a movie night, binge-watching the Traitors, pot luck dinners or BBQs in the summer. We will often have friends over or go to events together however, we’re not a party house - we tend to go elsewhere for parties! Although we will throw a big one on occasion e. g. for birthdays.
ABOUT YOU:
We really love our home and are all pretty committed to making it a nice place to live - both in terms of doing work on the house and in trying to keep up good communication and a kind, supportive vibe. We’d love to find someone who is also keen to get stuck in and call this place home. We welcome all genders, sexualities, nationalities and personalities but you must be kind and caring towards others, we aim to prioritise making the flat a safe space for all. No couples and please ask about pets.
