Room Available in Newington Green/Canonbury

Available from 30 October | £960 pcm + bills (approx. £150) | Latest move-in: 14 November but the earlier the better

We’re looking for a new flatmate to join our three-person flat in Newington Green / Canonbury. We’d ideally love to live with another woman to keep a good balance in the household.

🛏️ The room

A good-sized double room with space for a desk, making it ideal if you work hybrid. We’re not looking for someone who works fully remotely. The flat is comfortable and cosy, with a dishwasher, a separate toilet and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. We’ve also had a good experience with our letting agency.

📍 The area

We’re in a lovely spot, with Clissold Park and Canonbury Overground both around a 7-minute walk away. Tesco Express is 6 minutes away, and Aldi in Dalston is about a 15-minute walk.

The flat is in a quiet block with families nearby so we don’t tend to bring the party home. It’s a great area if you enjoy green spaces, running, independent coffee shops and local pubs.

A bit about us

You’ll be living with Jesse and Max — two friendly, easy-going people with a good sense of humour who originally met through SpareRoom and have since become good friends.

Jesse, 29 — From Australia and works in mental health. Works from home one day per week.

Max, 30 — Recently moved from Brighton and runs a vintage clothing business with a shop on Brick Lane 5 days a week.

We enjoy going to the pub, checking out coffee shops and spending time in Clissold Park. We’re a sociable household and enjoy sharing meals. Happy to have round to visit / stay the night.

We also care about keeping the flat clean and comfortable, so we’re looking for someone considerate who’s happy to do their share of the housework.
