Double room available in Newington Green/Canonbury

Reposting due to a switch of rooms between housemates

We’re looking for a new flatmate to join our three-person flat in Newington Green / Canonbury. We’d ideally love to live with another woman.

🛏️ The room

A good-sized double bedroom that comes fully furnished, with space for a desk, making it ideal if you work hybrid. We’re not looking for someone who works fully remotely.

The flat is comfortable and cosy, with a dishwasher, an air fryer, a separate toilet and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. We’ve also had a good experience with our letting agency.

📍 The area

We’re in a lovely spot, with Clissold Park and Canonbury Overground both around a 7-minute walk away. Tesco Express is 6 minutes away, and Aldi in Dalston is about a 15-minute walk.

The flat is in a quiet block with families nearby, so we don’t tend to bring the party home. It’s a great area if you enjoy green spaces, running, independent coffee shops and local pubs.

👋 A bit about us

You’ll be living with Jesse and Max — two friendly, easy-going people with a good sense of humour who originally met through SpareRoom and have since become good friends.

Jesse, 29 — From Australia and works in mental health. Works from home one day per week.

Max, 30 — Recently moved from Brighton and runs a vintage clothing business with a shop on Brick Lane, which he works at five days a week.

We enjoy going to the pub, checking out coffee shops and spending time in Clissold Park. We’re a sociable household and enjoy sharing meals. We’re also happy to have friends round for visits or overnight stays.

We care about keeping the flat clean and comfortable, so we’re looking for someone considerate who’s happy to do their share of the housework.
