Description
Ensuite room to rent in a 2-bed flat – ISLINGTON N7
Available from 28 April 2026 | Long-term
The Flat
A two-bedroom top-floor flat in a three-flat building owned by the same landlord. The two bedrooms are on different levels with no shared walls, so there's more privacy than in most flat shares. Each room has its own ensuite, plus a half-bath shared between us. The kitchen and lounge are open plan.
I’ve lived here for nearly three years, and the landlord has been consistently responsive, respectful and easy to deal with, which makes a big difference.
The room will be furnished with a bed and mattress and book shelf and bedside table. There’s an inbuilt wardrobe space. There’s also shared storage space under the stairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and the lounge is already furnished. If you have furniture you’d like to bring, I’m very flexible.
The Location
Well-connected but still feels local. Plenty of independent restaurants, cafés, shops and some fabulous local pubs. There’s also a cinema about five minutes away.
Transport links:
* Archway (Northern Line) ~15 min walk
* Holloway Road (Piccadilly Line) ~15 min walk
* Finsbury Park (Victoria, Piccadilly & National Rail) ~15 min walk
* Upper Holloway (Overground) ~10 min walk
* Highbury & Islington ~10 min by bus
About Me
I'm in my mid-30s, work in tech, and have a fairly active routine: a mix of work, travelling, going to gigs, and seeing friends.
At home, I like the flat to feel calm, clean and easy. I keep things tidy as I go, and I’d love to live with someone who treats the shared space the same way, but I'd also be keen to get a semi-regular cleaner in to keep things nice. It’s important to me that it feels like a home. I’m sociable and happy to share an occasional dinner, a glass of wine, or a film at a cinema, but I also value my own space and independence.
I dog-sit occasionally, so allergies would be an issue. I’m also hoping to adopt or possibly foster a cat at some point. If you already have one, I’m open to discussing it too!
This home is queer-friendly and inclusive.
About You
You’re a working professional, with regular hours schedule (hybrid or office-based, both fine) somewhere in the 30-42 range. You are looking for a long-term, friendly home rather than a silent co-living setup.
You’re easygoing, considerate, and naturally tidy and clean. You value a calm and respectful home environment.
Strictly no couples.
Dates and Practical Stuff
Lease start date: 28 April 2026 (fixed).
There’s a possibility of moving in slightly earlier, depending on my current housemate’s plans. I can’t guarantee that, but if the timing aligns, we can explore it.
