Double room with shared bathroom available in a spacious clean house for a couple of nights midweek.
HOUSE
The house is four storeys tall with a lovely sunny roof terrace and an even better city garden equipped with lots of seating and a large dining set under a jasmine pergola. The house has been half newly-renovated to include a new modern kitchen-dining extension. The house is professionally cleaned once a week by a lovely lady who also looks after my self-contained Airbnb studio (at the front of the G floor) so I like to think you’d experience Airbnb-level cleanliness.
ROOM
The room is on the 2nd floor and directly south-facing, making it warm all year round, and its best features include the dark wood furniture and shutters. White bed linen and towels will be provided and laundered for you. All basic kitchen and bathroom goods are provided. There is plenty of storage in the room and you would be welcome to leave belongings.
DEAL
This room is ideal for someone working in London midweek but living outside and wishing to save on their commute. The figure is inclusive of all bills, and you’re very welcome to use all parts of the house and its mod cons (SmartTV with Netflix etc, Nespresso, utility room). Ideally looking for someone seeking two nights midweek.
LOCATION
The house is on a Victorian terraced road with a much-loved neighbourhood pub at the end, serving small plates and cheaper-than-average drinks, around a 7 min walk north of Chalk Farm tube station (Northern Line, zone 2). All the neighbours know each other, and we’ve all lived here forever, myself since 2012. In terms of travel, door-to-door, everywhere feels like 30 mins away. I walk to the West End in 45 minutes through Regent’s Park.

I’m Anna, 35, working in commercial interior design (not as a designer, much less glamorous). I have an active social life so am often out half the week enjoying time with friends. If I’m around, I love to chat or get an impromptu dinner out, but equally happy to chill on my own. Currently, my single bedroom is occupied by a lovely girl for two nights midweek (Tues and Wed) who you would share a bathroom with. Worth noting I'm an Airbnb SuperHost so hopefully that somewhat confirms I'm nice and reliable!
Happy to sign a SpareRoom Licence Agreement for both parties’ peace of mind.
