Bright room with a view in SE12

I have a beautiful, sunny double room, with a view over trees and leafy back gardens, and I’m looking for a quiet tidy person to come and live in it!

The room is newly decorated and neat, and is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe and bookshelves. Depending on what you would find most useful, it could also have a chest of drawers, shelving unit and bedside table. There is cupboard space off the hallway for things you don't want in the room and you can also have access to my garage to store boxes etc or keep a bike.

The room is in a 2-bedroom, 2nd floor flat in a small purpose-built block on a residential street. The living room has a large patio window and small balcony and also a piano which you are welcome to play. There’s decent Wi-Fi and gas central heating, and I would be including energy bills up to a limit that we agree together to avoid any nasty shocks in these turbulent times.

The kitchen is equipped with all the basics: an electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower.

I am a classical musician with quiet, introspective habits and a varied freelance schedule involving working from home and some travel. It would suit me if your job involved regular full-time hours spent at your workplace rather than at home.

Transport links are excellent here. Grove Park station is within a 10 minute walk and there are 4 trains an hour into London Bridge, Cannon Street or Charing Cross (20 to 25 minutes) and a shuttle service to Bromley. By road, we are just off the a 205 South Circular, which is the boundary of the ULEZ, and there is off-street parking at the site.

The address is in the London Borough of Lewisham (Council Tax band C) and we are close to Chinbrook Meadows, Elmstead Woods, Manor Park and both the Green Chain and Capital Ring walking routes.

I am a self-contained and quiet person and I'm looking for someone who is equally self-sufficient and independent.
