The Flat

The flat is in a quiet block in a nice square with mostly families. It has a decent-sized living room and an additional cubby area that you can use as a home office or study space (I keep a desk in my room). The kitchen is spacious and there’s loads of storage. There's also a balcony off the living room with some space for bikes and a table and chairs.

The Area

It’s half way between Queens Road Peckham and New Cross Gate, both stations are about a 10 minute walk away and make it super easy to get to East London and London Bridge. There’s some nice coffee shops and bars next to Queens Road Peckham station and Nunhead and Peckham Rye is a short walk away, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs. We have a brand new Aldi 2 minutes away and a Lidl just past it. There’s enough going on but still has a community feel.

Housemate

You’d be sharing with me. I’m 36 and run a social enterprise/community hub in Brixton, so I’m there a few days a week and some evenings. I also work from home during quieter periods. I’m very laidback, happy to hang out sometimes, but I also value my own space as my work is quite intense and social. I’m into cycling, fitness, reading and film.
