Description
Hi everyone!
My housemate is sadly moving out of my lovely two-bed flat in Nunhead and looking for someone to take over her room on the lease from 14th November.
Rent: £926 pcm Bills: approx. £175 pcm (includes tv license, toilet roll subscription, along with usual household bills) Deposit: £1,067
The flat
A lovely west-facing two-bed flat with an open-plan kitchen/living space and a Juliet balcony overlooking the allotments in Nunhead. The flat is set back from the road, so it’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, while still being close to some of the best spots in the area.
We’re just a few minutes from Ivy House pub, Nunhead Cemetery is next door, and Peckham Rye is round the corner. Nunhead high street is a 10/15 minute walk away for coffee, bars and restaurants.
The room itself is a good-sized double, with plenty of floor space and room for a desk, chest of drawers and wardrobe, and a window overlooking the allotments. The room is unfurnished, although she is happy to sell some of her furniture to the new tenant if wanted.
Location & transport
* 5 mins’ walk to Peckham Rye Park
* <12 mins’ walk to Nunhead Station
* <20 mins’ walk to Brockley Station
* 25 mins’ walk to Peckham Rye Station
Who you’ll be living with
You’ll be sharing with me, Josie (34), a freelance creative designer.
The flat has genuinely been our home for the last 3.5 years, and we’ve created a calm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We often eat dinner together, watch TV and have a chat in the evenings, but we also both have our own busy social lives and give each other plenty of space.
Looking for someone who’s clean, considerate and easy-going, and who’d like to live somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a place to crash. Someone who’s up for the occasional dinner or evening hang, while also being happy doing their own thing would be ideal.
If you’re interested, send me a message with a little bit about yourself and we can arrange a viewing and/or have a chat!
You’ll need to pass the landlord’s standard referencing checks and earn over £28,800 to pass this.
