Hi! I am looking for an easy-going person (single occupancy only, please) to rent my second bedroom. I am a 31 year-old professional working in the architecture and construction industry. I work from the office most days, with the occasional day at home. I have a pet cat (called Tiger), and, as it is my home, I would like someone who is friendly, respectful of the property, and equally easy-going.
Please note: Applicants must be OK with a friendly cat who roams the house and sleeps wherever.
Flat:
Sitting within the new-build Trinity Walk Development, my apartment is generous in size at roughly 88sqm. It is a lovely 2-bed, 2-bathroom flat, with open-plan living room and kitchen, sizeable hallway, and storage and laundry cupboards. The kitchen comes with all utilities and is fully fitted with a dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge-freezer. There is a separate washer/dryer, also. The property is on the ground floor and comes with a large external terrace, which is amazing in the summer months. The apartment is safe and secured with external video cameras and is served by a concierge which is excellent for receiving packages when working.
The Room:
The room is spacious (at 11.9 sqm) and painted in a dark grey/black. The room has a window fitted with operable blind and curtains. The room comes furnished with a double bed and mattress, side table, clothes rack, desk, and 3-drawer storage unit.
Other Inclusions:
The room to rent comes with shared use of the second bathroom, located directly opposite the bedroom in the hallway. The bathroom is very large, and comes with heated towel rack, mirror, toilet and sink, and bath/shower.
The tenant will also have shared use of the living areas and kitchen, including the TV which comes with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky Sports, and BT Sport.
Bills:
The rent excludes a £100 monthly contribution towards bills, calculated on the assumption the tenant does not WFH.
Location:
The property is extremely well connected and benefits from the DLR and Elizabeth line stations which are 5-8mins walk away.
