Hi there!
I am a 30 yrs old French girl working in the field of education and development, living in a beautiful groundfloor flat with my cat, who enjoys access to the private garden that is literally right in front of Hornfair park. This wouldn't be suitable for someone that has an animal, as the landlord wouldn't allow multiple animals in the property. (My cat is also very clean and very sweet).
My current flatmate is leaving the flat to move back to France end of of October, so ideally the move in date would be 1st of November.
The flat is amazing, very bright with lots of light, super comfy, a 5 mins walk from a Better Health swimming pool + gym and tennis courts. If you'd like to see pictures please do ask and i'll send over, or we can arrange a facetime/videocall visit. Rent is 900£ + bills, which rounds up to approx 990£ per month (less in the summer, a bit more in the winter).
The flat is well equiped with a washing machine, dishwasher, everything except a tumble dryer. There are one ensuite bedroom, in which I stay, and a room and separate bathroom with a bath (which would be all yours) as well as a kitchen +living room that gives onto the garden. The flat is furnished with my furniture, it was empty when I moved in, but if you'd like to bring some of your own furniture we can definitely arrange so.
There is a bus stop right outside the house which sees a lot of buses to Lewisham station (4-5 bus stops), North Greenwhich (15-20mins drive depending on traffic), Woolwich (4 bus stops) from where you can take the super quick Elizabeth line. the bus 53 always goes straight to central london.
I work from home most of the time and really enjoy my peace and quiet, so this wouldn't be suitable for someone looking to have friends over a lot, parties and grand social gatherings of the sort. Ideally, the perfect match would be a woman in full time employment, but I'm opened to give a fair chance to anyone. I'm quite close to the landlord and respect the space like it is my home, so cleaningness is imperative (and I mean imperative, if you are not triggered by dirt nor bothered by things such as dirty plates in the sink, dust in the corner of rooms or clothes left in the washing machine when a wash is finished, this probably won't work for you). Masters and PhD students welcome!
If you are not in full time employment with a min salary of 30K or have a UK guarantor, it may be difficult for you to pass the reference check, so please do keep that in mind. Otherwise, landlord would be opened to a 6 months rent paid in advance type deal if you are foreign and not yet in full time employment or a student. Any questions, don't hesitate to let me know!
