The House
Huge 4 bedroom Victorian semi-detached house split over 3 floors and a huge 20m rear garden - perfect for summer. We're looking to fill the room from 7th August. The room is quite large as you can see on the photos and is in the middle of the house on the first floor, with a big window facing the garden. The room is unfurnished and measures about 3.5x3.5 metres, so plenty of space for all sorts of furniture and a desk if you work from home, although the double living room downstairs is partly used for WFH.

The main bathroom on the first floor is modern, with underfloor heating and shared with two other bedrooms. There is a large walk-in shower at one end and a great bath on the other side.

The whole house is always bright and has very high ceilings throughout and this can really be felt in the living room. It's very spacious with big front bay windows and is perfect to entertain when having BBQs. We currently have a music setup for practicing as a couple of the housemates have radio shows and gig across the country, but no need to worry about noise as everyone is super chilled and respectful of others - it hardly ever gets used to be honest but fun when it is. We have a big TV for nights in and as mentioned use some space for working from home. The living room also has French doors opening up onto the rear garden.

The kitchen is very modern, with original floorboards, a breakfast island, induction hob, dishwasher, lots of storage cupboards, and again plenty of room, with a dining table in the bay window and a turntable setup opposite for when we cook and eat together.

Location
The street we live on is quite residential and family friendly and we get on well with all our neighbours. The Blythe Tavern is at the bottom of the street near plenty of handy off licenses. Lots of other pubs nearby too. There's plenty of buses and we're 10 minutes walk away from Catford Bridge and Catford stations which get you into London Bridge in 11 minutes or Blackfriars (via Peckham Rye) in 24 minutes. We're also 15 minutes walk away from Forest Hill station if you prefer to ride the Overground, which is 23 minutes to Shoreditch. Who needs the underground?!

Housemates
You’ll be sharing with 3 guys - Youssef, Jimi and Ben, all professional full-timers. I work in Finance and split my time between the office and working from home. Jimi works in music & marketing and works from home most days, and Ben works in Construction Project Management. We all have side music hustles on the go too, which keep us busy outside of work, but the house is generally a safe haven.

Bills
Electricity, gas, internet and council tax comes to about £110 per month (when we're not facing another global meltdown/crisis!) and we all contribute towards a kitty every month when anything needs buying. We don’t have a cleaner as we’re pretty good at keeping on top of it ourselves as you can see from the photos.
