The room is a large double room with a single bed. There is plenty of storage space.

There is another single bed available in the same room for guests (£10 per night) by arrangement and only short stay.

Shared family bathroom, a second shower room and a third toilet downstairs.

Shared kitchen is a fully equipped family kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing machine and cupboard space.

The room would suit
- a professional person with a job who needs a quiet place to come home to and is busy with their own social activities;
- a mature student who is on a course in London and needs a quiet place with wifi to be able to study without interruptions;
- someone on a short-term contract in London;
- a professional who works in London for a month or two at a time and goes home for the weekend;
- someone on placement at either Kings College or Lewisham Hospitals.

Bellingham station (trains on the Thameslink line to Elephant and Castle, Blackfriars, St Pancras International, Kentish Town and Luton Airport is about 7 minutes’ walk.

Catford Bridge/Catford stations (Trains to London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing Cross) is 12 minutes’ walk.

There are 7 bus routes about 3 minutes' walk to the main road (including night buses) so there is easy transport to London or into Kent.

There are shops, restaurants and supermarkets within a short walk.

We prefer short -term rentals of 1 week-3 months with the possibility of longer stays if we all get on well.

Rent is payable a week in advance. Rent is £148 per. week with an extra £10 per night for your guests sharing the room..

We are a retired professional couple who keep busy with our own activities Occasionally our daughters or friends come to stay. We are around a lot of the time and generally busy with our own stuff so, while we're happy to stop and chat, we have no need to be 'sociable' if you prefer your own space.

We live in a very quiet area so won't welcome loud noise/music any time!
