Why hello there!
I am looking for a flatmate! Aside from myself, there is one other tenant who works as a physio, so we both work regular working hours away from home Mon-Fri. He is very nice, tidy and keeps himself to himself generally but we are good friends and catch up daily.
I cover the bills/service charges/council tax etc and so am not asking for additional bills unless there is noticeable overuse.
After an injury I was fortunate to be able to get a very special addition to my life at the start of the year - a male toy poodle age 8 months. He is incredibly cute and full of life. Like any puppy, he is energetic and looks for mischief but is a pleasure to have around. He does not need to go into the rented rooms unless wanted (and safe!)
Due to me mostly working out of the house 4 weekdays a week, it would be great if you had different work hours or sometimes would be at home when I’m not to put out his lunch and take him down to the toilet (the balcony can be used aside from this as it’s covered in fake grass.) I take Pip for his main walk every day after work, but he is so happy to accept any and all love and attention!
The bedroom has a double bed, which has some storage space underneath, as well as a desk with drawers, some more drawers, and a clothes rail. I’m happy for you to move furniture around and decorate in there so you’re happy with it!
You’d be able to enjoy the communal areas too, which include a lovely large kitchen with everything you could need (air fryer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier) and a lounge with a dining table and very large 5k TV (not the one in the photo currently.)
We are on a high street with a Lidl 2 minutes walk away as well as lots of little shops and food places, with a micropub, post office and bus stop just across the road with the 161, 126 and 124 stopping every few minutes. A petrol station under a minute away and parking easy to get here.
A bit more about me! I rented as a tenant since moving to London to uni at 18 so I am used to living with strangers, with great friends and also strangers that have become great friends too! I have owned this flat for a few years and live in the other bedroom. I work out of the flat Monday to Friday with only one day a week working from home, and go out to see friends usually once or twice a weekend (the puppy comes with me when possible!)
I am not your standard live in landlady as I am fun loving and quite relaxed as long as everyone is happy and comfortable and the flat is secure and in a clean enough state. Interests of mine include music, comedy, human rights and social justice issues, festivals, cooking and travelling. I grew up in Spain but am from the UK. I don’t need my housemate to spend time with me, but would be very open to flat meals and movie nights. I am a sociable, friendly and tolerant individual. I am bisexual and this is an LGBT+ friendly flat should that apply to you.
Please get in touch to arrange a viewing if this could suit you! Any questions please just ask.
Ideally I'd be looking to sign a 6 month contract with the option to roll on but am flexible. I need to have the room secured at the start of August, but if think you could be a great fit don’t hesitate to get in touch to arrange a viewing as we can discuss should you be a good fit!
