Ensuite in peaceful garden flat

I have a double room available in my flat in Furzedown, a wonderful, welcoming area between Streatham and Tooting. The flat is situated on an extremely quiet residential road, just off the southern edge of Tooting Bec Common. Streatham Common is also within easy reach.

The recently decorated room is currently unfurnished, but a bed and/or mattress could be installed if required. There is a private ensuite bathroom with a shower.

You would also have use of the living room, kitchen, and small conservatory area, which would be shared with me. There is also a lovely, good-sized garden, with fruit trees, a shed and a patio seating area. I'm hoping to keep working on making the garden as pretty as possible - and would welcome any help with this from a green-fingered flatmate!

The flat is within easy reach of Tooting Bec tube (about 7 minutes by bike, or 20 on foot) as well as Streatham station, and the shops, amenities and restaurants of Streatham and Tooting.

The ideal flatmate would be easy-going, sociable, and flexible. I am currently undertaking a course in healthcare, and will split my time between home, university and hospital placements. I hope to find a student or professional who is looking for a relaxed and peaceful home in South London.

Bills will be shared. Council tax is Band D.
