Big Double Bedroom, Share my new Flat with Me

James here! I’ve just bought my first home and recently refurbished it, so everything is fresh and in great condition. You’ll notice there aren’t many pictures on the walls yet… or cushions on the sofa. I’m decorating as I go, so if you’ve got a good eye for interiors, your input would definitely be welcome.

The flat is a spacious 90m² split over two floors. Downstairs there is a dining room, lounge and kitchen, and upstairs are the three bedrooms. It’s a 3 bed, but I’m only looking for one flatmate as the third room is set up as my office, so it will feel more like sharing a large two bed than a typical house share.

The flat is a stone’s throw from Tooting Bec Lido and the common, and you can see the Lido from your bedroom, so it’s a great green space.

I work in the City around 3 days a week, so I’m looking for someone with a similar hybrid routine. Ideally, you’re tidy, easy going and up for a chat or a drink.

I’m also often not at home as I visit my boyfriend every other weekend. He visits me sometimes too, but I tend to go to him more. I also travel most months, so quite often it will feel like you have the whole place to yourself.

I lived with two people before buying my own place and made lifetime friends from that experience, so I’d love a repeat of that.

The aim is to create a calm, well kept home rather than a high turnover flatshare.
