Double Room with En-Suite Available in Streatham

We’ve got a double room with its own en-suite available in our lovely 3-bedroom house in Streatham.

The house is on a quiet street and has loads of shared space, including a kitchen, living room, conservatory, garden, rear shed and driveway. It’s a proper home rather than just a place to sleep, and we’re hoping to find someone who wants to settle in and stay for the long term.

A bit about us

There are currently two of us living here. We’re both Northerners who’ve ended up in London and work professionally in the photography industry. We’re pretty easy-going, sociable and like having a good laugh, cooking, watching films and generally making the most of the house.

The important bit: we’re big gamers. 🎮

We’ve got a pretty stacked collection of older-generation consoles under the TV, and playing games together is a regular part of life here. We’re into a bit of everything, so if you’re into games too, especially older consoles, you’ll probably fit in very well.

We’re also big F1 fans, so you’ll usually find the Grand Prix on the TV on a Sunday. Outside of that, we like chilling out, having a few drinks and hanging out when we’re not working.

Bills & council tax: Not included. These are split between the housemates, with the new tenant paying their share.

We’re looking for someone friendly, respectful and easy to live with. We’re not looking for a completely silent housemate who disappears into their room, but equally it’s not a party house. We like having a social home where everyone can chill together but also have their own space.

The house is lovely and we’re planning on staying here for as long as possible, so ideally we’d like to find someone who’s looking for a longer-term home rather than somewhere temporary.
