Description
I’ve got a bright, spacious double room available in my two-bedroom flat in the heart of Pimlico. It’s on the top (3rd) floor of a building with no lift, with friendly neighbours. If you lean out the window you can even see the river, which is a nice little bonus.
The room is the master bedroom, with twin windows so it gets loads of natural light. It’s a great size with plenty of storage as well as a desk and armchair. It feels like a proper little retreat in the middle of the city. I also have a spare TV you’re very welcome to have in the room if you’d like.
You’d be sharing with me – I’m the live-in landlady (lodger contract). The flat has a shared comfortable living room, kitchen, and a bathroom with a bath/shower. I’ve put a lot of care into making it feel like a proper home, and I like to keep things clean, tidy, and comfortable.
The area:
I’ve lived on the same road for 12 years and really love it. It’s quiet and safe, but you’re still right in Zone 1. There are lots of great cafés, pubs and restaurants nearby, and the river is down the road (perfect for a walk after work). Tate Britain is also close by, and you can walk to the West End in about 45 minutes.
Transport links:
5 min walk to Pimlico Station (Victoria line)
10 min walk to Vauxhall Station (Victoria line & National Rail)
20 min walk to Westminster
Buses (87, 88, C10) just a minute away + more bus routes (2, 36, 185, 360) within 10 mins
Millenium Pier 5 mins away for the river boat
A bit about me:
I used to work in finance but now work for an arts college. I love music (I sing in a choir), exhibitions and museums, and I’ve recently started ice skating lessons. At home I’m just as happy having a quiet evening reading or watching a film with a glass of wine.
I’m friendly and easy-going, happy to chat, but also respectful of space. I do like to keep the flat clean and tidy, so it feels like a nice place to come home to during the week.
I’m looking for someone:
Seven days a week between 15 May – 31 August £1,300/month (includes bills)
Monday – Friday only from 1st September (a professional who needs a comfortable, calm base in London during the working week) £1,100/month (includes bills)
I’m looking for someone mature and considerate – clean and tidy, and respectful of shared space. It’s a peaceful home rather than a party flat.
If it sounds like a good fit, drop me a message and we can have a chat 🙂
