Bright & spacious room (Mon - Fri) in Westminster

I’ve got a bright, spacious double room available Monday - Friday in a two-bedroom flat in the heart of Pimlico.

The flat is on the top (3rd) floor of a building with no lift, friendly neighbours, the river at the bottom of the road (which you can see from the window) in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. It's a gem in zone 1!

The room is the master bedroom, with twin windows so it gets loads of natural light. It’s a great size with plenty of storage/shelving as well as an electric standing desk, bedside tables, chest of drawers and an armchair. It feels like a proper little retreat in the middle of the city. I also have a spare TV you’re very welcome to have in the room if you’d like.

The flat has a shared comfortable living room, kitchen, and a bathroom with a bath/shower. I’ve put a lot of care into making it feel like a proper home, and I like to keep things clean, tidy, and comfortable.

You’d be sharing with me. I used to work in finance but now work for an arts college. I work from home two days a week/in the office three days. Depending on the week, I’m either chilling at home in the evenings – reading a book or a bit of telly with maybe a glass of wine or I’m going to see a film, theatre show or art exhibition. I also love music, going to gigs and I sing in a local choir and like to take an art class (painting/drawing) from time to time. I like to cook at home.

I’m friendly and easy-going, happy to chat, but also respectful of space. I do like to keep the flat clean and tidy, so it feels like a nice place to come home to during the week.

I’ve lived on the same road for 12 years and really love it. There are lots of great cafés, pubs and restaurants nearby, and Battersea and St James' park are walking distances away - perfect for lovely walks and chilling out. Tate Britain is in the neighbourhood, and you can walk to the West End in about 45 minutes.

5 min walk to Pimlico Station (Victoria line)
10 min walk to Vauxhall Station (Victoria line & National Rail)
20 min walk to Westminster
Buses (87, 88, C10) just a minute away + more bus routes (2, 36, 185, 360) within 10 mins
Millenium Pier 5 mins away for the river boat

It’s a Monday – Friday (only) let from 31st August (earlier date negotiable).

I’m looking for someone mature and considerate (a professional who needs a comfortable, calm base in London during the working week) – clean and tidy, and respectful of shared spaces. I’m offering a comfortable and peaceful home away from home, not a party flat. £1,100/month (including bills).
