My name is Mike and I have a large, clean double room to rent for one person in a bright, sunny 3-bed flat right by the River Thames in Pimlico.
A female would be ideal, but guys will certainly be considered too.
Amenities including sitting room, kitchen and bathroom are shared with two others (one male, one female), and the flat has a spacious balcony overlooking a beautiful garden full of mature trees.
It's available from October onwards, as the current male occupant is moving because he has now completed his PhD and has to move for work.
The bedroom is 12' 5” x 9' 6'', furnished with a fitted double wardrobe, bookshelves, double bed, chair, a small desk and a bedside chest of drawers.
All bills are included in the rent, including 1,000 Mbps ultra fast fibre broadband, all utilities, and council tax.
The flat's main features:
* On the 2nd floor of a Grade II-listed block, at the end (ie/ so no neighbours next door).
* A large balcony area (with astro turf and plants) overlooking a large landscaped garden (to which we have easy access)
* Access is by both lift and stairs.
* A modern, equipped kitchen diner, recently refurbished bathroom with shower, separate WC, and a shared sitting room with 42” flatscreen TV.
The location is excellent, with local shops, pubs and cafes, dental and medical surgeries, and bus routes just a few minutes away. The Embankment is very close, offering riverside walks along The Thames.
We are 7 mins walk to Pimlico tube station and 15 mins walk to Victoria station. By tube from Pimlico, Oxford Circus is less than 10 mins away.
You would be sharing with two other people: a male freelance journalist and musician, and a female who works in hotel management.
We are easy-going, respectful, and friendly working people.
We're looking for someone similar, male or female, aged ideally from late 20s to mid 50s, to replace our female flatmate.
This is a calm, tranquil home and not a party flat. We are warm and sociable, but we also respect each other's need for peace and relaxation.
