Large double room w/private entrance and patio

Looking for a mature-minded, considerate and reliable lodger to rent a large double room in our home in Tulse Hill, SW2.

The room is a spacious double (about 15' x 12'), with its own private entrance and a small patio. It's furnished with a bed, open clothes storage and blackout curtains. A sofa and TV/media unit stay in the room, providing a space or you to relax. All bills (gas, electricity, water, broadband) are included, and the shared areas are cleaned fortnightly.

The flat is a two-floor maisonette in a purpose-built block on Palace Road, SW2. You'd share the fitted kitchen, bathroom & separate wc with me and my partner. I'm a mature student and freelance from home. He works evenings as a DJ, and the flat is our calm place to come home to.

We’re still working on finishing off some decorating jobs including the shared bathroom and toilet, which I'm happy to walk you through during a viewing. But essentially everything left to do is cosmetic and all rooms are fully functional.

Transport

Trains: Tulse Hill station (Thameslink) is a short walk, with direct trains to Blackfriars, City Thameslink and London Bridge, and on to East Croydon and Luton. Streatham Hill station is also nearby for trains to Victoria.

Tube: Brixton (Victoria line) is a short bus ride away.

Bus: The P13 stops on Palace Road. At Tulse Hill station you can pick up the 2, 68, 196, 201, 322, 415, 432, 468, 690 and N2, going to Brixton, Victoria, Waterloo, Elephant & Castle and beyond.

Green space and local life: Palace Road is lovely tree-lined street. There are are a number of parks in the area including Brockwell Park and the lido are nearby, plus the cafés and shops of Tulse Hill and Streatham Hill.

There's a short application form to complete. All applicants are asked for ID, references and a Right to Rent check.
