January Sublet - Double bedroom in social house

Hey Spareroom! I’m seeking a subletter to rent my room for roughly 3 months (with a possibility to extend) while I’m travelling from mid-late January 2027 to mid-late April 2027.

I live in a close knit & social house - we all met each other on Spareroom years ago, and have lived together ever since! I’m looking for a subletter who is keen to join a social house and hopefully make some new friends.

The room:
Spacious double bedroom in a large 6 bedroom Victorian house, situated between Brixton and Herne Hill. Convenient transport links if you commute to an office, but equally suited for someone WFH as there is a desk & chair I’ll leave in the room.

The house:
- A large living room
- Kitchen
- Garden
- Two full bathrooms (& two additional toilets)

Location
- 12-minute walk to both Brixton Station (Victoria line) and Herne Hill Station
- 2-minute walk to Brockwell Park.
- Short stroll from loads of cafes, pubs, Brixton Market, and Herne Hill Farmer’s Market on Sundays.
- Sainsbury’s is a 5 minute walk, and Tesco/Lidl roughly 15 minutes.

Housemates:
The housemates are mid to late 20s, working in different fields like teaching, surveying, events, and acting. We’re a really social bunch and I’m hoping for someone who will want to take part in that for the months I’m away! We love movie nights, pub trips, games nights, festivals, fitness, etc! Plus, we have a house cleaner every 2 weeks (incl. in the cost).

Dates:
Available mid-late January to mid-late April (possibility for small extension). Rent is £1100 pcm (bills + cleaner included).
