Hello, I’m a 38 year old female art director and creative. I’m currently looking for a long-term female flat mate to move into the spare room available from October - there is flexibility with the move in date to move in early October.
Looking for a female professional who is friendly, easy going and house proud to share this lovely flat with. Not students unfortunately as I have early seats with work.
The home feels like a little sanctuary. I enjoy yoga, holistic practises, going out/socialising, travelling and all things creative. I work from home on week days however I’m also out and about for meetings too. The flat would ideally be best suited to someone who has a workspace due its compact size.
The flat and bedroom are furnished however there is no wardrobe ~ there is some under-stairs storage space with a rail and shelf. Please refer to the picture. Otherwise a free standing rail could be added in the room. Which has worked well previously.
As it’s a small flat, it’s not ideal for social gatherings. I’m quite an early to bed, early to rise person with a few odd fun nights out therefore looking for someone like minded.
The bedroom is a small double room (exact measurements tbc) however the homely feel of the place and location makes up for this.
The kitchen is a great size - open plan.
French doors over look a garden. Very friendly neighbours.
The TV has Netflix and the usual catch up channels available.

10 minutes walk from Stamford Brook station (district line)
10/15 mins walk to Shepherds Bush station (Central line - you can be in Oxford Circus within 20/25 mins door to door)
15/20 minute walk from Hammersmith station (Piccadilly / Circle and Hammersmith line)
5 minute walk from the Uxbridge road for great restaurants and food markets
20 mins walk to Westfields
15 min walk to Chiswick High Road.
12 minute drive to Notting Hill.
The flat is situated just by the Askew Road which has The Ginger Pig deli, Gail’s bakery, two organic grocery store, dry cleaners, hardware store and supermarkets. There are a couple of independent boutique shops too.
The Oak pub, Anglesea Arms and Stonemasons Arms are very close by which have great food.
There is a gym/swimming pool 15/20 mins walk away
A beautiful Yoga + Pilates studio is only a 10 min walk
A local Tesco, Co-Op and Sainsbury’s only a minute walk away
Close to Frame and BoomCycle in Hammermwith
10 min walk from Ravenscourt park (which includes a farmers market, beautiful gardening centre with gift shop and cafe)
15 min walk along Hammersmith Riverside too. Close by to The Elder Press cafe.
A cleaner comes biweekly. This works out at £20 each. I am a very clean + tidy person therefore looking for someone who aligns with this too.
A down payment returnable deposit of 4 weeks rent (£800 is required).
The monthly rent payments are made to the landlords agency Hamways. You will also need to have a guarantor.
Bills are not included and are roughly £120 a month. This includes water, gas, electricity, council and internet.
