Available now a lovely, spacious double room in a peaceful and friendly West London home.

The room is bright, comfortable and fully furnished, with a very comfortable double bed, large open wardrobe with hangers and two large drawers, 32inch TV on wall, Sherpa arm chair & foot stool, a very large chest of drawers, clothes rail, shoe ottoman, blackout curtains, medium desk, 32inch monitor and chair and natural fibre bedding.

The flat has a pretty shared bathroom with a bath and shower, as well as a gorgeous open-plan living space filled with plants, a breakfast bar, fully equipped kitchen and a furnished balcony.

Superfast Wi-Fi is included, making the room ideal for studying, working or simply keeping in touch with home..

I’ve hosted a number of UCL international students over the years and have had such positive experiences. My SpareRoom is also perfect for a professional in transition, someone relocating to London, or anyone looking for a comfortable home for a flexible period.

I’m the live-in landlady and work in fintech software, mostly from home in the living area Monday to Friday. I’m also an accredited meditation teacher, and spend much of my time writing and publishing meditations.

You’ll also be sharing the home with a very friendly little dog and cat. 🐾

A few extras to make life easier:

Bedding and towels can be provided if you need them, and I also provide everyday household essentials such as loo roll, kitchen roll and basic kitchen supplies. These are all included, along with bills and Wi-Fi.

A few things that are helpful to know:

Flexible stays are welcome.
All bills and superfast Wi-Fi are included.
The advertised lodging fee is fixed.
As this is a small shared home, unfortunately it isn’t suitable for overnight guests.
There is no parking available.
The existing bedroom furniture and furnishings need to remain in the room.
The room can absolutely be made to feel like your own with your personal belongings, but it can’t be redecorated.

Getting around 🚇

It’s really easy to get into Central London, with several stations and lots of bus routes nearby. There are also plenty of local cafés, shops and supermarkets, plus lovely green spaces and parks stretching towards Hyde Park.

Turnham Green – around a 10-minute walk (District Line)
Stamford Brook – around a 10-minute walk (District Line)
Acton Central – around a 15-minute walk (Mildmay Line)
Nearby buses include the 207, SL8, 272, E3, 218 and 70
