Double bed in spacious W4 flat

PART TIME LODGING: Double room in Chiswick for Mon-Fri (or other part time but regular midweek commitment on negotiation) for a part-time lodger close to Turnham Green tube station (zone 2). Looking for someone who can commit to at least the end of January 2026. Light and airy double bedroom in a beautifully maintained purpose built 1st floor Edwardian maisonette, recently re-decorated, with new carpet too. Bedroom is furnished with double bed, wardrobe, large chest of drawers and bedside table. All bedding can be supplied (but you would be responsible for washing/changing your sheets and keeping bathroom clean, kitchen clean when you use it etc). The room isn't ensuite, but the flat has two bathrooms. I will be abroad with work for some of the time, meaning you would have the flat to yourself.

I'm a 45yr old professional journalist. I live on my own and I'm offering my spare room to a lodger on a single occupancy basis.

There is a spacious shared kitchen (with dishwasher, washing machine & microwave), and big living room with dining table. I'd hope you'd feel very much at home there during the week.

The flat is 8 mins walk to Turnham Green station (District Line, also Piccadilly Line between 10.30pm and 6.45am). The E3 bus stop is right outside, which goes to Chiswick Mainline Station (routes to Clapham Jct, Vauxhall, Waterloo), as well as the 94 going through Shepherd's Bush into town, and countless buses on Chiswick High Rd going towards Hammersmith.

There is a handy convenience store right across the road from the flat, and the bustle of Chiswick High Rd with its shops, cafes and bars is only a short walk away.

Virgin Media TV, wifi, utility bills are included.

A Spareroom Lodger Agreement will be drawn up, and one month's returnable deposit required, along with references.
