A room is becoming available in my small and cosy flat (2-bedroom apartment) and I’m looking for the right person to join. The flat is just 3 minutes from Exmouth Market in the WC1X area. The street is a cul-de-sac, which makes it very quiet on the bedroom side, while on the living room side there’s a communal garden.

I’d love to share the space with someone who is:

→ Clean, tidy and respectful of shared areas.

→ Open to communication: can discuss things calmly, open-minded.

→ Discreet, relaxed and easygoing (no parties at home, though small dinners with friends are welcome).

→ Comfortable with occasional visitors (friends, partner, family are fine — men and women) for short holidays, weekends or evenings.

→ Working outside the home (no full-time WFH, please).

→ Ideally, someone who enjoys travelling, so we both get time to ourselves.

→ Someone who appreciates cosy vibes, tea, and creativity and enjoys a calm, welcoming home.

→ Likes the idea of sharing occasional dinners and chat, while also valuing independence and personal space.

ABOUT ME:

→ I am a French woman who works as an e-commerce & marketing manager in a luxury tea company.

→ I love horse riding, travelling, good food, making pottery, alternative cinema and visiting museums.

→ On weekends, you’ll often find me at Pilates or enjoying a matcha latte at a Japanese tea house on Saturday mornings, and at the pottery studio on Sundays.

→ I think that I am open-minded.

→ I grew up in Provence near Aix-en-Provence and have also lived in Paris, Lyon and Marseille, as well as three years in China. London has been home for the past five years.

→ I listen to a lot of music and enjoy putting together jazz, alternative and R&B playlists.

→ I work quite a lot, so I enjoy relaxing at home and watching movies.

FLAT STRUCTURE:

The flat is a small 2-bedrooms apartment with a living room, and bathroom with a bath. Located on the 4th floor with a lift. This is not a big apartment, but it’s cosy :)

TRANSPORTS:

→ Walking distance: 16 min from Farringdon, 16min from Kings Cross, 19min from Angel stations

→ Walking distance to bus lines 38, 19, 341 (3min), and 205 (7min).

NOT ALLOWED IN THE APARTMENT:

→ Bicycles are not allowed in the apartment.
→ Smoking inside is forbidden (including cigarettes and weed)
→ Late-night noise
→ No drugs allowed
→ ⁠Couples looking to rent for two
→ No animals allowed
→ Constantly inviting people and organising parties
→ Renting on Airbnb or to friends

DEPOSIT: 2 months of rent

REFERENCES:
→ Recent employment letter with the job title.

MONTHLY RENT & BILLS:

1. Rent: £750 per month
2. Internet: £19 per person
3. Cleaner: £60 per person (mandatory)
4. ⁠Electricity & Gas: varies between £30 to £80+ per person per month (I am happy to be careful but I do not want to live in the cold)
