Quiet double off Chatsworth Road

We’re looking for a new housemate to join us in our lovely three-storey house on a quiet residential street in Lower Clapton. The bedroom is at the back of the house and overlooks the garden (see photos) – very peaceful and scenic! It was repainted a year ago and has recently been fitted out with a new bed and mattress.

We’re just off Chatsworth Road, a great little high street with lots of independent shops, delis, restaurants/bars, the Castle Cinema, and a Sunday market. The house is close to Homerton station and a short walk from Hackney Central. Hackney Marshes, Millfields Park and the canal are all close by.

You’ll be sharing with Gillian, 34, a writer/translator, Tara, 33, an outreach worker, and Costi, 33, a medical researcher. Between us, our interests cover everything from crafting and writing to music, sport and doing the park run. We're a relaxed and friendly houseshare – we'll hang out at home, go to the pub or a gig nearby or head round the corner to the Castle to catch a film, but we've all got our own schedules and are happy if people want to do their own thing, too. The house is really spacious but still has a warm and welcoming feel. We don’t smoke indoors but feel free to use the outdoor seating area.

Rent is £900 a month. Bills come to about £130 a month covering energy/water, council tax, broadband, and fortnightly cleaner for communal areas.
