Description
Hello! I’m looking for a friendly, easygoing flatmate to share a bright 2 bedroom flat by the canal in Clapton with me. If you value a warm, tidy and respectful home, enjoy a good chat but also appreciate personal space, you might be just the person I’m looking for. Age and gender don’t matter, I’d love a flatmate who’s like minded, genuine and fun to be around.
The flat is beautifully located by the scenic canal and Millfields Park, with Walthamstow Marshes, Hackney Marshes and Chatsworth Road all nearby, making it a fantastic spot for nature lovers, walkers and those who appreciate a peaceful yet well connected neighbourhood.
Inside, there’s a large balcony with lovely views accessed from the living room, a bright and cosy shared kitchen/living area with a dishwasher, slow juicer and baking equipment, a well maintained bathroom with a bath, and two storage areas; one with a large washing machine that also has a dryer option. There’s also space for bikes on the balcony and secure basement parking if you have a car (permit required).
The room will be available from 1st November, with a little flexibility if needed. It can come furnished or unfurnished depending on your preference, and features a spacious double glazed window and laminate flooring, making it ideal for creating a cosy sanctuary.
Rent is £1125 per month, which includes council tax, fast fibre broadband, water, electricity and gas. No deposit required.
Transport links are excellent: It’s a 10 minute walk to Clapton Overground, with a quick 13 minute journey to Liverpool Street, and a 5 minute walk to Lea Bridge Road with multiple bus routes into the city.
About me: I’m 40, working as a psychotherapist in the mental health sector. I work from home two days a week (using my room as an office) and otherwise keep a fairly busy schedule. I enjoy yoga, cycling, meditation, working out, juggling, slacklining and board games. I’m also a professional Go player (do you know the game?).
Originally from Turkey, I’ve been in London for eight years. I like to keep the flat clean, calm and filled with plants.
I’d love to share the flat with someone who is considerate, open minded and easygoing. Respecting each other’s space is important, but I’m also always up for socialising and sharing some good moments together.
If this sounds like the right place for you, please drop me a message with a bit about yourself, including your job and hobbies. I’d be happy to arrange a viewing at your convenience and feel free to ask me any questions.
