Dbl room available now in LGBTQ+ flat Clapton Pond

HHello!

We’re Mark and Ruby and we’re looking for someone calm, clean, tidy, and kind to share our lovely flat in Clapton Pond as our housemate is moving to Scotland!

The Room:
Cozy Double with a bed and drawers – we also have a small desk and chair if you would like.
There is also the under-stair storage and another chest of drawers in the hallway (as seen in the video) for you.

The Flat:
We’re on a beautiful, quiet, and friendly street. It’s almost silent to sleep at night, and lots of neighbours to say hi and catch up with during the day – our street whatsapp group is always filled with people giving away extra vegetables they grew, recycling furniture, or able to cat sit/ lend a screwdriver/ pick something up for a neighbour who’s ill. And the street is closed off for a day for our summer fete and street party every year!

Three bedrooms in total with a shared kitchen and bathroom. Lots of windows for through breeze in Summer and central heating to keep it cozy in winter.
There is a gas cooker, fan assisted oven, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster etc with all the plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery etc you’d need – but room for more if you have your own to bring.

Transport:
TRAIN: We’re 5-10 minutes walk from Clapton Station (15min to Liverpool St, 5min to Walthamstow Central)
10-15 minutes walk to Hackney Central/ Hackney Downs Station
BUS: There are hundreds from the end of the road, including our favourites the 38, 55, 253, and 106 to name a few.
CYCLE: Takes about 25 mins to Liverpool street and 35 mins to Soho.
PARKING: There is on street parking with a permit you can buy from Hackney Council.

Shopping:
End of the road has Tesco metro, an independent supermarket, a bakery, four takeaways, three coffee spots, some nice restaurants, a gorgeous pub, and THREE organic shops.
A full-size Tesco is about 10-15mins walk/ 5-10 minute bus ride away.
Westfield Stratford is a gorgeous 40 minute walk along the river or 30 mins by train.

The Housemates:
We’re both friendly, but also busy souls and .independent, so is a perfect space to relax / decompress after work, and we both work in charity.

Mark is in a big LGBT+ chorus so rehearses and performs a lot when not working, enjoys times with friends, and going on random trips/ adventures.
Ruby enjoys going to the pub, anything music related, going on walks, and also seeing friends.

The rent is £804.85 a month . Bills are currently £163.04 a month which includes: Council tax, broadband, TV licence, contents insurance, Electricity, Water, and gas.
