Hi there! I am moving out to go travelling, which leaves a double bedroom available in a 4 bed/1.5 bathroom house in Homerton.
About the house
The house is less than a 10 mins walk from Homerton overground station, Hackney Marshes, and Chatsworth Road (which has a wonderful community cinema: The Castle, wonderful cafes, and a market on Sundays) and 15 mins walk from Victoria Park. You’d be living with 3 flatmates from different countries and with ages between 31 and 34. We enjoy socialising, but are also respectful of each other’s space. We all contribute to making the house feel like a home, including sharing the responsibility of keeping the house looking tidy.
About the room
The room available is one of the two smallest (and the price reflects that). The room comes with the bed frame, mirror, and a side table (not pictured). However, the current tenant would ideally like to sell the mattress and desk to the new tenant.
The rent
The rent is currently £660 excluding bills, however the landlord has informed us that it will increase to £680 from November 1st (when the new lease will be signed). The bills are not included and usually come out to about £100 per person. This is a two month lease takeover. You would then sign onto the new year lease in November. The security deposit is £877.
