Lovely HouseShare Near Chatsworth Road

Hey, Jonny and Gauthier here and we’re looking for someone to move into our lovely Lower Clapton Flat, just a stone’s throw away from Chatsworth Road. We are sad to lose Harry our current housemate after a few years yet excited to meet our future housemate!

## The House
The house has an open kitchen/living room area, a garden that we like to make the most of in the summer and another small courtyard to store bikes. We both like to cook so our kitchen is well kitted out. We have one shared bathroom, but your room has its own shower and sink too. The other bits and pieces are: sky lights that make our living room really bright in the day and recently replaced oven and fridge freezer too. And finally, believe it or not: an olive tree in the garden.

But probably what you really want to know, is how is the room...

## The Room
As for the room, it's decent size, plenty of room for a desk, with carpet flooring, 2 windows, well heated, and located on the first floor in its own space. It comes partially furnished with the bed and some hanging furniture so you should have plenty of room for all your clothes. It already has decent storage space but there’s room to put more storage units too.

## The Money
Rent is £1,060 + bills. Bills vary slightly but usually sit around £120 per month each. Deposit £680.
We have a fixed contract until April 2026 with an agency that is super responsive. You would be joining the lease until then. Gauthier’s work in PropTech also comes in handy just in case there are things to challenge.

## About us
We both work in tech but much prefer talking about our other interests! We are into photography, music, films, sports and cooking to name just a few. We will sometimes play a board game while eating far too much lasagna and have the odd pint at the local just next door (really… like just next door), or just chat in the kitchen contemplating life and hope to have friends around for a bbq when the weather will clear out in about 1000 years from now. Living our best real housewives of Clapton lives ! We’re a happy and respectful house and would gladly live with someone of any gender or orientation.

## Area
Lower Clapton is a really nice area; parks, marshes, markets, river, buses and the Mildmay and Weaver line both in walking distance. The street is quiet yet a stones throw from Chatsworth road. We also live nearby a local institution: the Elderfield where we enjoy a nice pint and a chat. They have a great pub quiz and a really nice local resident vibe.

Official Moving in date is 1st of December, if you want to move in earlier this can be arranged as the current housemate has already moved out his stuff to his new 5 star palace
