Description
On the look out for a new house mate to take my room in our lovely four bed house from early Jan 2026.
About the Room:
A lovely and bright double sized bedroom which comes furnished with double bed, wardrobe & drawers. Can be unfurnished on request with the landlord.
Room shares a bathroom & toilet with one other housemate.
Rent: £775 per month + 100£ for bills.
Deposit: £890 (secured)
Fulltime employment & references requested by landlord for all prospective tenants.
Sorry no students, pets (sadly) or couples.
About the House:
Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, with big open-plan living room and kitchen. Best thing about the house is the lovely garden with orange tree that's a great suntrap in the summer!
Homerton Overground is a 15 minute walk away, with great bus routes and cycling options nearby.
Private landlord who is quick to address any issues and is relaxed about any changes we want to make to the property.
We enjoy the occasional shared evening dinner and garden hangs in the summer, but everyone generally maintains their own social life and respects each other’s space. We value a clean and tidy house so we split all the tasks between us.
You’d be living with:
Ryan (35): A jeweller from Suffolk with interests in music, food, photography, and football. Easy going and friendly, he works full-time in his studio and at a local pub.
Camilla (33): Originally from Australia with Italian roots, she works full-time for a professional membership body and is studying for an MA in film studies. She loves photography, interior design, and the arts.
Rosie (34): From Jersey, Rosie works as an Account Manager, easy going and usually found in the garden enjoying the sun. Enjoys exhibitions, cooking and finding new food spots.
Things we love about living here:
The neighbours are friendly, and it feels like part of a community.
Chatsworth Road has a weekly Sunday market and plenty of options for coffee, food and drinks in the local area.
The street is quiet at night for a good night’s sleep.
Convenient access to grocery stores and everything else you need nearby.
Close to the River Lea, Hackney Marshes and other green spaces.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please send us a DM with a bit about yourself and your availability for potential viewings and we’ll be in touch. Look forward to hearing from you!
