Double room in Lower Clapton 1st July

We have a double room available from 1st July in a friendly two-bedroom flat in Lower Clapton.

The flat has two bedrooms, a spacious living room, two bathrooms, a good-sized kitchen, and a shared garden. It gets plenty of natural light and is located on a quiet street with lovely neighbours.

The available room is a partly furnished mezzanine bedroom, including a full-length mirror and an IKEA wardrobe unit, although we’re also happy to leave it unfurnished if preferred. The room has a small storage space, and the window overlooks the back garden.

The rent is £800 per month. Bills are separate and typically comes to around £150 per person each month, including Council Tax (Band B), water, WiFi, electricity, and gas. A deposit equivalent to one month’s rent will also be required.

The flat is a 10-minute walk from both Hackney Central and Hackney Downs Overground stations, a 5-minute walk from Hackney Downs Park, and around 15–20 minutes from London Fields and Victoria Park. Dalston and Hackney Wick are also easily accessible by bus or bike. The area has plenty of supermarkets, cafés, organic shops, pubs, restaurants, and weekend markets nearby.

We are a couple from Norway and Sweden, both working freelance and travelling regularly for shorter work trips. We’re social, easygoing people who like to enjoy life while also valuing personal space and downtime, so the flat has a relaxed and respectful atmosphere.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys living in a calm and comfortable home environment. Ideally, someone who doesn’t work from home full-time. We appreciate housemates who are clean, considerate, and respectful of shared spaces.
