Spacious double room in a modern house with garden in Maida Vale (W9

Transportation from the nearest tube stations, Westbourne Park and Maida Vale, is really good towards Marylebone, Mayfair, UCL, the West End, the City, Canary Wharf or down towards Victoria and going West towards Hammersmith and Heathrow Airport.

We are a couple and own the house, and we have a happy little child, see details below.

We are renting out a spacious, fully furnished double room in our newly renovated, modern house with garden.

We are a professional couple and have a little child (4 years old).

The entire house is newly renovated and architect-designed, equipped in modern, minimal design.

Layout:
The house is on 2 floors - on the top floor there are 3 bedrooms and the main bathroom, on the ground floor, there is the kitchen, eating area, separate toilet, lounge and garden.

Downstairs we also have a Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner that cleans the floor.

Bedroom 1 is our own bedroom, bedroom 2 is the guestroom, which we are renting out, bedroom 3 is where the little one sleeps.


Bathrooms:
There is one large shared bathroom in the house, with Japanese Toto toilet washlet (a bit like an integrated bidet, but better..), large (German) shower and the door can be locked from inside. It is not en-suite and it is not your own bathroom.
We had many guests staying in the room who were looking for an en-suite, mostly ladies and couples, and they were all happy and comfortable with the bathroom.


Downstairs is an additional toilet.
Space and Storage
In the room there is plenty of storage, under the bed, inside the large wardrobe, on top of the wardrobe and in the chest of drawers. We also have a garage for large items such as suitcases or anything not used so often etc.

Inside the complex, we have a bicycle shed- secure, covered with keyed access for residents.

Working From Home:
The room is all set up for days working from home, with large double-sized desk and comfortable ergonomics office desk chair and fast wifi. There is also a tv with Netflix and bluetooth connection.

Bills Included:
All bills are included (Council tax, heating, water, electricity, internet, Netflix).

Child at home
We have a child, he's a happy 4-year-old boy; goes to preschool and has a nanny. He likes his swim class, insects, Lego and fresh mango. We had many guests staying with us, through Airbnb and Spareroom, short stays and long-term, and everything was perfectly fine with the little one in the house. He is mentioned in reviews on AirBnB!
After preschool in the evening, and on the weekend when we're not out, he plays in the lounge area, that's why we only watch "grown up tv" when he's sleeping.
And he understands 3 languages, German, Farsi and English.
- It helps if you like kids :)

Kitchen - Modern, minimal design, with integrated appliances, washing machine, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave/oven combination, large fridge/freezer. Lots of pots, Ninja frying pans, wok, hand mixer, toaster etc. No need to bring anything, it's all here.

Eating area - with extendable table and chairs, also facing the garden.

Garden - Modern furniture with sofa and chair, sun chairs for sun bathing, lots of jasmine, green bushes, small palm trees etc..


The area:
We are in Maida Vale - great connections for tube and busses, you can also walk to Notting Hill (Portobello Road), St. John's Wood, Paddington, Bayswater or Abbey Road. .

Transportation from the nearest tube stations, Westbourne Park and Maida Vale, is really good towards Baker Street/Marylebone (LBS, UCL), Mayfair, the West End, Waterloo, the City, London Bridge, Canary Wharf and further South, , or going further West towards Hammersmith and Heathrow Airport.

Located in a quiet, secure and well-maintained gated residential complex with large communal green space for residents. Burlington Close is off Elgin Avenue, a green space you don't see from the main road.

We are in between (5-10 minutes walking distance) 2 tube stations - Westbourne Park (Circle Line and Hammersmith and City Line, and Maida Vale (Bakerloo Line). Commuting to Paddington, Hammersmith, Baker Street, Kings Cross and Oxford Circus is straight forward.

There are several bus stops outside the house, number 18, 31, 36, 228, 328.

A 3-minute walk from the house you find many supermarkets, also plenty of shops for fresh fruit and vegetable, several butchers, post office, cafes and restaurants.

There are many eating places around, including fast food and several restaurants in walking distance, including in Maida Vale


A green park, Paddington Recreation Ground is a short 5-6 minute walk from the house, in the park there is a running track, gym and many tennis courts. There are 2 large pools nearby and Regents Park is not far.

We would like to share our house/our home with one professional, female preferred, couples are also welcome, no pets. Considerate students are welcome, too.

We are a professional couple, peaceful, friendly and hospitable, well travelled with a broad cultural and linguistic background. We work in architecture and compliance, and usually go to the office 4 days a week and work from home 1 day per week.
