Description
Hiii there! ✨
I'm looking to fill the other room in my 2b2b flat that's going to be available as of December 20, 2024. Keep reading for the scoop on your potential new home:
📍 LOCATION:
➜ A 3-minute walk from Manor House station (Piccadilly line), meaning you can be at King's Cross in under 15 min, and Holborn in 17
*Bonus: if you're into catching flights, and not feelings, Heathrow is a straight shot on the Piccadilly in 1hr15min ✈️
➜ The park (Finsbury Park) is a 5 min walk away with loads of green space for picnics, and a great looping path (2 laps = 5K for my runners/power walkers out there!)
➜ A small Co-op and Sainsbury's Local are less than a 5 min walk away. And if you feel like walking a bit more (15 min), you'll find a shopping centre with a BIG Sainsbury's, Tk Maxx, ALDI, Superdrug, Poundland, and more!
🏙️ THE BUILDING:
➜ There's limited street parking, but there's an underground garage if you have a car (you'll have to inquire with the concierge about details on that)
➜ Amenities include a gym and indoor heated pool in the basement, and a conference room that folks like to WFH in on the ground floor
➜ Concierge on the ground floor are available 24/7. They are lovely and super helpful, not only with receiving parcels but with other things too ◡̈
🚪 THE FLAT:
➜ Rent is £1,300 per month plus bills, and we are in Hackney Council Tax Band D
➜ There are 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms in the flat, so you'll have the en-suite one
➜ Your room comes furnished with a bed, two side tables, two lamps, and a built-in closet
➜ Right next to the front door, there's a storage closet that houses our washer-dryer
➜ We'll be sharing the living room and kitchen that came semi furnished. I've added bits and bobs but would love to live with someone who wants the space to feel like home
➜ We also have a spacious balcony facing the lovely court which has a garden and fountain
🙋🏻♀️ THE FLATMATE:
➜ I'm a Mexican gal in my 30's, and have lived in London on and off since 2017
➜ I work in Ops for a tech company and exclusively WFH. My current flatmate mostly does too, but her room (which would be yours) is a bit tighter than mine –you can still fit a desk there, though. You are more than welcome to WFH too, so long as you don't completely occupy the living room 💕
➜ I like arts and crafts and cooking; Mexican food is my specialty 🌮 but lately it seems I only have time for HelloFresh 🥲
➜ I'd love to live with someone who is down to be friends, have movie nights, and casual hangs in and out of the flat –homey vibes are the goal, and not just sharing a roof with a stranger 🫶🏼
➜ I am super tidy and organized, and I would hope you were so too 🫧
➜ I love to host, and I like to have friends over occasionally, so I encourage you to do so as well –after all, this is your home too! This isn't a party flat, though, as I like to keep things chill during the week
➜ I enjoy going out with friends, trashy tv shows, wine, picnics (when the weather is good), exploring London, sewing, board games, and most of all: Taylor Swift 🤍
**If this sounds like the right fit for you, please reach out so we can chat a bit and set up a viewing**
