Come and share my quirky home with my flatmate Franchesca and my cat Martin!

I'm Hattie, I'm 33 and I am currently doing an MSc at the University of Southampton. I've spent years making this place into a sanctuary and now I live in Southampton the majority of the time! The third room in a three bedroom house is available from the middle of October until April 2026 or so (negotiable). You would be living with one other person – Franchesca (27yo, from California, working in sustainability PR), who is possibly the loveliest person ever.

The room is bright, with blue inbuilt cupboards, a new single bed and mattress. It is quite cosy, which is reflected in the price. In the living room you're free to use my Amazon Alexa echo dot and PS5, as well as my netflix and amazon prime accounts on the big TV. Feel free to read my books!

You will have your own bathroom 90% of the time! The house has two bathrooms (one for you/me and one for Franchesca) plus an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room. (There's also my room which i will be staying in for a couple of nights a month). There's a large garden out the back which is great for hosting people, sunshine yoga or relaxing with a book. I have a fire pit you can use when it is cold.

I am a 5 minute walk from Mile End station so the transport links are 👌 There's also a magical pocket of woodland at the end of the road called The Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, and you can walk to Victoria Park just though that and Mile End Park, only crossing one road!

Hopefully you like cats as Martin rules the roost around here. He can also be extremely cuddly in front of the (massive) TV. (There are plans for Martin to go to his dad's house permanently at the end of October.)
