Description
We have two rooms available in our house from 1st of September in Mile End. About 10 minutes walk from Mile End Tube station, with a large selection of pubs, green spaces, and shops including a big Lidl, Tesco express, coop, and a handy off license round the corner often frequented by the neighbourhood cat.
Room 1
£725pcm
The upstairs room is a west facing double bedroom which looks out onto the garden, getting lots of sunlight in the evening. There is space for a desk and comes with a wardrobe. There is also a cupboard directly opposite the room in the hallway for extra storage.
Room 2
£700pcm
The downstairs room is an east facing double room, with lots of morning light. At the moment it comes with a single bed, a shelving unit, wardrobe and small desk. The landlord would be open to remove the single bed if you would like to move your own double bed in.
These rooms have become available as sadly our current flatmates are moving on to live with their partners. The rooms are both available from 1st of Sept however we’d be looking for people who are willing to sign the tenancy agreement from 1st of August as that’s when the landlord would like the agreement signed by.
The rest of the house includes a living room, large kitchen and basement for lots of storage. There is a small downstairs toilet and a bathroom with a shower and bathtub upstairs. The house also has a garden which gets sunlight throughout the whole day. I’m currently taking part in a sunflower growing competition this year and it has done me well so far.
You’d be living with two brothers who have lived here for a year and are keen to stay on as the house is a lovely space. One of us is a chemical engineer who enjoys film and music. The other is a civil servant who’s a keen rock climber and runner, and enjoys music and cooking.
We’re quite social and currently enjoy communal dinners and hanging out in the kitchen, and we’d love to keep this vibe going. We’re quite laid back but would obviously like to live with someone who keeps the space tidy and considers this more of a home than just a houseshare :)
We also have lovely neighbours on either side who we have good relationships with and occasionally enjoy a natter over the garden walls with.
