Lovely bright double room in Mile End

Looking for someone to take over my current tenancy from end of Sept - mid October (can be flexible with move in date). It’s a lovely 2 bed 2 bathroom flat with a large shared kitchen/ lounge, loads of storage space and a balcony. The room available is very spacious and comes fully furnished (desk/chair are mine).

The flat is super well connected with buses/10 min walk from Mile End tube station (central, H&S, district lines). We are also really close to a gym (5 mins), Lidl/Tesco (10 mins) and walking distance to lots of nice areas in London (Victoria park, Shoreditch etc.)

You will be sharing with Parris (28F) who works in the fashion industry and is in the office 5 days a week. We currently both like to keep the flat very clean and have a nice flat dynamic - we often cook/ chill together during evenings and weekends so ideally looking for someone to replace me with a similar vibe :) Sadly I am only moving out as I am looking for somewhere cheaper but otherwise would love to stay!!

Flat is £1075 per month and bills/council tax come to between £120-150 (depending on the time of year) so roughly £1200 for everything.

TO NOTE: this will be a name change on the current contract that runs until 13th August 2026 but there is also a break clause in August 2025 so there is the option for both tenants to move out then. Ideally looking for someone who would to rent until at least then. We have already done several name changes through the course of this contract and it is an easy process but just to let you know that the agency can sometimes be a bit slow with getting it all sorted so you would need to be potentially happy to sublet (pay me) for the first month or so!
