Room to Let in Mile End

Our good friend and housemate is moving in with his girlfriend and we are searching for a fourth housemate to join our social home.

We are all professionals working across architecture, sound design & property. We are all open people with busy independent lives but we also enjoy spending time together whether it be board game nights, backyard bbq, movie nights or the pub.

A little about ourselves:
Paris is an Aussie who has been living in London for 6 years (yet has never lived in Clapham). She studied at UCL and now works as an architect in London Bridge. She is energetic, very social and loves a drink or a night out. She will indoctrinate you into Australian football if you give her the chance or try to convince you to go on a run.

Paul is originally from Yorkshire. He works in the TV and film industry as a sound designer and mixer, which he loves. He’s also a musician and loves going out to gigs / nights and generally socialising. He enjoys sport, watching football and going to games as well as hiking, running and generally getting into the outdoors.

Andy works in the F&B industry, likes going to the pub, watching football and exercising. Despite having a corpo job, he is the most crafty of the bunch and always has a creative project on the go. Andy hates writing about himself, if you do too you’ll probably get on.

The Neighbourhood:
We live in a classic Victorian terrace with a backyard and a small basement for storage. It is very well situated with Mile End being the closest tube station just a 5 min walk. It is also very close to Regents Canal, grocery stores Sainsbury Local & large Lidl, Mile End/Victoria Park, and a bunch of nice pubs.

Who we’d like you to be:
We are open to everyone, however looking for someone who is also social and ready to join a family environment. We have all lived together for a long time and while we all have our own lives and can go days without seeing each other, we definitely enjoy doing things together.

Furniture:
The bedroom is unfurnished. The housemate departing will sell his current bed frame if wanted.

You will be signing onto a Joint AST contract and will be on the lease. You will be joining one year into a two-year fixed-term contract. All forms/reference checks have to be provided, approved, and signed one month before move-in.

Rent: £892.00 pcm
Elec/gas ~ 29.50 pcm
Water ~ £12.50 pcm
Internet £6.25 pcm
Council Tax £38 pcm.
Deposit - ~ £1038.25

Move in date latest 19th December. Possibly earlier depending on reference checks etc.
