Description
Available for just under three months from ~2 March 2025 – 31st May 2025 (some flexibility on dates) while I am away travelling.
Rent £870 pcm + bills approx. ~£75pcm.
Cosy Victorian terrace house, with two showers, one big bathroom, and two toilets together shared with 4 other really sound boys in their mid 20s. We're often hanging out together on weeknights, watching TV, going climbing, having dinner together, going to gigs, films, exhibitions, the park, the pub etc. Two of the boys play hockey at East London Hockey Club (5 min walk).
Everyone works full time with a mix of WFH.
The bedroom:
-Furnished. Bedroom comes fully furnished, with extra storage which I’m happy to leave behind; a desk will not be included, although is in the pictures.
-Quiet. The room is at the back of the house on the first floor, and has quiet neighbours.
-Warm in winter, cool in summer. The room has three interior walls so stays warm in winter and cool in summer.
The house:
-Really well connected. Mile End station (Central Line, District Line, Hammersmith & City Line) only 5 mins walk. Numerous local bus stations for easy access to Hackney / Dalston.
-Lots of green space. Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park (2 min walk), Mile End Park (3 min walk), Victoria Park (10-15 min walk).
-Upstairs and downstairs bathrooms.
-Small garden, good for warm evenings and having mates over.
-Big communal sitting room which gets lots of use.
-Good sized kitchen with two fridge freezers and dining table.
-Supermarkets nearby. Corner shop (less than 50m), Tesco and Coop (5-10 min walk), Lidl (less than 5 min cycle), huge Tesco and Asda one stop on the tube.
-On street permit parking available.
-No need for cutlery/pots/pans/plates etc - you can use mine/the house's during your stay.
We will sign a formal contract, and I think best if we meet before for you to come and see the house and meet my flatmates too. I've spent lots of time abroad and know the process of finding a new place (from London too) so very happy to answer any questions.
