VIEWINGS CURRENTLY ON HOLD
I am the current flatmate who will be moving out of this lovely house in September. Ideally, I am looking for someone to move in on or after 14 September, but I can be flexible and discuss options.
The house is within walking distance of Mile End station (Zone 2). Three tube lines and multiple buses make the location extremely easy to commute. There are lots of green spaces nearby, including Mile End Park, Victoria Park and Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. You can also enjoy our lovely back garden.
The house has three bedrooms, a spacious living room and a nice kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and full-sized fridge. There are two bathrooms in the house, one of which is shared by two people on the floor where the advertised room is located.
The spare room is spacious and comes with furniture. This includes a bed with a mattress, a large desk (I can also leave you the chair!), a bedside table (currently used for storage under the desk), a big wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a bookshelf/storage unit with baskets. The room faces south, so it gets lots of sunlight.
The current flatmates are two lovely professionals in their late 20s and 30s. One is a civil servant and the other one is a researcher. We respect our own time and commitments, while also enjoying a nice chat in the kitchen and the odd meal together. We don’t just share a house - it is a home with a calm and nice atmosphere where we can wind down and enjoy the little things in daily life.
We would like the new housemate to be responsible and tidy. We operate on a cleaning rota and would like to keep it that way. It is important for us that the new housemate is respectful and open to communication.
In-person viewings are strongly encouraged as we would like to get to know you a bit and for you to get a feel of the house.
Bills are not included in the rent. They are sorted by the housemates and come to around £150 per month.
