Hey, we're looking for a fourth person to join our home in Mile End! I've been living here for nearly 3 years and will be moving out with my partner, the 3 remaining tenants are all lovely, friendly and easy to live with (3 men, aged 28-32).
It's an easy 7 minute walk from Mile End station with the central, district and hammersmith & city lines (5 mins to Liverpool street, 3 mins to Stratford, 15 mins to central London).
The house has a nice kitchen with a dining table, dishwasher and washing machine, back garden and your bedroom (fully furnished with a desk, sofa-bed, 2x wardrobes, chest of drawers, bookshelf, double bed) and a large en suite. There is also a storage room via the en suite. Please note that there is not a living room, but people often hang out together in the kitchen/bedrooms and you have a sofa in your room. It's a lovely bedroom and is a great price considering the size, en suite and central location. There is a gated car park that you can use to park your car for free if you have one. It's a nice area with access to Lidl (big shop) and a smaller Co-op and Sainsburys, lots of nice pubs, the canal where you can easily walk to Victoria Park. I've always felt safe as a woman walking home at a late hour on weekdays/weekends.
It's Council tax E (included within your rent), broadband £6.50 (per person), water about £20 per month (per person), and gas/electric ranges from £15ish in the summer to £50ish in the winter (per person).
The housemates are looking for someone 27-35 years old, any gender, LGBT+ friendly. It's a friendly household where people have dinner or watch a movie together, but you're also able to have your own space and privacy. Working professionals please. Open to people who wfh or elsewhere.
