Description
Sadly, our 2 lovely flatmates are moving out after 4 years into their own home.
We have a cosy room, perfect for anyone who likes a minimalistic lifestyle. It has 1 x built-in wardrobe and a separate built-in cupboard for storage. The room comes furnished with a bed, and it's a great space to make into your own.
We've got a good-sized open-plan kitchen and large living room with a balcony (if you squint, you can see the Gherkin from it!). We have two toilets, and the shower is very powerful, which seems to be rare for London flats!
A little bit about me: I’m Becca, who works in Events Management. I have personally lived in this apartment for over 7 years and may or may not be biased, but it's a great apartment, amazing location and just good vibes!
It's a very friendly and sociable flat; however, we’re not a party flat, and we are looking for someone clean, tidy and respectful. We tend to do our own thing but also like to hang out, whether that's slobbing in front of the TV and ordering a pizza, or a beer at the pub (which is a 30-second walk away - the dream).
Our landlord lives close by and is a friendly guy who fixes odd things when needed.
The deposit is £577.78, which would need to be paid to Cecila & Jono, who are moving out.
We pay rent on the 14th of every month:
Room 2 - £675
Bills are approximately £150 per month, including council tax and a cleaner twice a month. (Obviously subject to any increases in bills that may happen)
There is also an admin fee to the agency at £50, to change over the tenancy.
We are looking to fill the room by the end of February, but can be slightly flexible in terms of date.
Transport links - we are a 15-minute walk from Mile End & Hackney Wick, and about 20 mins walk to Bethnal Green. There are a few buses (including night buses) really close to the flat & we have space for a bike by the front door if you have one. Victoria Park is also less than a 5-minute walk away.
The room is available from 22nd Feb but can be slightly flexible depending on circumstances. If this sounds like somewhere you'd like to live, then drop us a message about yourself and which room you are interested in to arrange a viewing.
Thanks!
Becca
