Large peaceful room near Highgate tube/woods

We’d love to share with a calm, friendly and warm hearted lady who loves animals (there's also a small kind and intelligent shitzu-poodle cross who lives here). 



We can offer a peaceful home where kindness and caring are highly valued, on a quiet road close to nature. We're looking for someone with similar values who is able to live in a harmonious and respectful way with others. 



We’re offering a large, light, spacious room with patio doors onto a wide and generous garden. Fully furnished with a large double wardrobe; chest of drawers; shelved cabinet, table and chairs. Shared bathroom (bath and shower) and ground floor cloakroom. Front sitting room is usually available after 8pm.


If you love nature, you can enter Queen's woods from our road, a one-minute walk from the house (and a short cut to the tube). Highgate woods is close by. We are also slowly creating a beautiful garden here, slowly recovering it from the wilderness with care, digging and planting new flowers, shrubs and trees.



20 mins journey to central London from highgate tube and 15 min walk/3 min bus (43 and 134) from top of the road to Highgate Tube or Muswell hill Broadway and 3 mins bus ride (W7) to Crouch End village. Both offer a wide range of facilities e. g. fitness/pool/leisure clubs, cinemas, bookshops, shops, restaurants/cafes, Whittington hospital etc. There's also a Sainsbury's Local, 6 min walk from Highgate Tube and a range of shops/restaurants etc on Archway road. 



I'm a British-Australian, former documentary film maker and hospital spiritual care-giver, also vegan. My daughter, Rosie,(28), a warm-hearted, friendly and considerate person (and a vet) lives here too.



Apologies but we do not have capacity to accommodate friends/family, couples or further furniture.

 Working from a place of work would be preferred which allows this space to retain its peacefulness.
