Large peaceful room near Highgate tube/woods

We’d love to share our lovely home with a calm, friendly and respectful lady who loves animals as there's also a small kind and intelligent elderly dog (shitzu-poodle cross) who lives here.

This is a homely, tranquil place where kindness is highly valued, on a quiet, peaceful, neighbourly road close to nature. We are looking for someone similar who is able to live in a harmonious and respectful way with others.

There is a large, light, good sized room with patio doors onto the garden. It is fully furnished (antique/vintage) offering a large double wardrobe; chest of drawers; storage cabinet (not shown), table and chairs. There's a shared bathroom (offering both bath and shower) and ground floor cloakroom.. There’s a small front sitting room available after 8pm for your own use (early to bed). Prior, we use it for meditation and taijiquan practice, art, dining and films.

It's a 20 min journey by tube to central London and a 15 minute walk or 3 mins bus (43 and 134) from top of the road to Highgate Tube or Muswell hill Broadway and 3 mins bus ride (W7) to Crouch End village for range of facilities – e. g. fitness/pool/leisure clubs, cinemas, bookshops, shops, restaurants/cafes, Whittington hospital etc. There's also a Sainsbury's Local, 6 minute walk from Highgate Tube and a range of shops/restaurants etc on Archway road.

If you love nature, you can enter Queen's woods from our road, a one-minute walk from the house (and a short cut to the tube). Highgate woods is close by.

I'm British-Australian, a former documentary film maker and hospital spiritual care-giver. I’m vegan as part of my practice. My daughter Rosie, (a vet) is a warm hearted, friendly and considerate person, who lives here too.

Unfortunately, there is insufficient space for friends and family to stay over or to accept couples due to numbers/bed availability. Also due to space limitations, we are unable to accept more furniture.

We would prefer to share with someone who works from their workplace if possible please.
