Double Room with Private Bathroom in New cross

My flatmate is leaving and I’m looking for someone to take over her lovely double room in a spacious two-bed flat in the heart of New Cross from the end of September.

The room comes with your own private bathroom, and the flat has a really nice layout for sharing (the two bedrooms are on opposite sides, with the living room in between, so there’s plenty of privacy).

The flat is on the 5th floor with a lift and has a large wraparound balcony that runs alongside the bedrooms and living room. There’s a spacious shared living area (including a slightly ridiculous 65-inch TV!), kitchen, and lots of natural light.

Location is really well connected:
- 8 mins walk to New Cross station
- 10 mins to New Cross Gate
- 12 mins to Deptford station
- Overground + National Rail connections nearby
- Lots of independent shops around, a 24-hour shop about a minute away, Tesco around 4 mins and a large Sainsbury’s around 12 mins

You’ll be sharing with me! I’m currently finishing up my PhD in Mechanical Engineering, so during the week I’m usually either in the office or glued to my desk working, but I do have a fun life on the weekends :) I’m looking for someone friendly, easygoing and considerate, who’s happy to have a nice shared home while also respecting each other’s space and privacy.

Rent: £1,000 pcm, excluding bills.
Available: mid September but the rent is already paid for the entire month so you would save two weeks of rent :)
