Room in a 3-bed flat in New Cross!

We’ve found a flat in New Cross and we’re looking for a third person to join so we can put an offer in ASAP

Location: Jerningham Road, New Cross

Area: 10 walk to a massive Sainsbury’s, 5 mins from New Cross Gate overground, and a short distance away from Telegraph Hill, with loads of cafes, pubs and bars in the area

Room: Room comes unfurnished and is the largest in the flat with an en-suite toilet and great light from the massive window. Flat has a really lovely living room with bay windows and a decent kitchen with good counter space.

Flatmates: We’re Benji (he/him) and Eleanor (she/her), two queer mid/late twenty-something friends who met last year as housemates. We both work full-time, Benji at an arts organisation in Aldgate and Eleanor as a data analyst around Victoria. Eleanor tends to wfh 2-3 days a week, Benji usually 1. We’re both social + active people who have got our own lives / things going on and are out of the house a fair bit, but love a chat and a catch up - either over a drink or on the sofa. We’re clean and respectful of communal spaces, and understand the shared task of keeping a tidy home.

Access:
The building is located at the midpoint of quite a gradually steep hill.
The main door to the building has a short step and a ledge to the front door. The flat is on the first floor of a larger shared house and accessed by a flight of 10 stairs. Upon entering the flat there’s immediately another staircase of 6 stairs.
There’s no intercom system at the front door.
All doors are fire doors and are quite heavy as they close behind them.
Jeringham road is close to the main road but the area itself is quite quiet.
