Bright double room in newington green in 2 Bed Apt

Hello! I’m Alexis, an Aussie who’s lived in London for 7 years and now calls it home. I’m looking for a laid back, considerate and friendly flatmate to share this cute two bedroom flat with!

I work in travel PR, love travelling, going to gigs, the gym, and trying new restaurants.

A little about the ideal flatmate:

Someone clean (a must!), considerate and easygoing who’s looking for a relaxing home not a party house. I’m friendly and pretty social myself, so I’d like to live with someone who has their own friends, hobbies and life outside the flat, and who ideally works from the office 50/50. As the flat isn’t the biggest, I think it’s important that we’re both considerate of each other’s space and have time to enjoy the space to ourselves from time to time. Equally, it’d be fab to have a flatmate who’s up for the occasional drink at the local pub or trying a new restaurant together (so many cute options around the area!).

About the flat:

The location is really fab. Super close to Newington Green, Dalston, De Beauvoir and Islington, with Dalston Junction around a 10 minute walk and Highbury & Islington around 15 minutes. There are also loads of buses right outside, making it easy to get into Soho, Hackney etc..

The flat also looks a bit different to these older pics in terms of lounge layout and decor FYI. But it comes furnished, and the room has a bed frame, bedside tables and a chest of drawers. There is also a second toilette which is super handy too.

- I’m also buying the TV stand and microwave from my current flatmate, so we could split the cost of those, which would be £35 each
