Description
This very large room, 17.2㎡ 14'5 x 12'10 (4.4m x 3.9m), is in a very spacious, friendly, relaxed and tidy flatshare with a south facing roof terrace and its right on Golborne Road, 1 min from Portobello and in the heart of Notting Hill. The flat is on three levels, has bags of character and lots of original features.
The lovely light and airy bedroom has a large double bed with space for storage underneath, two half cupboards either side of the bed, a large double wardrobe with sliding doors (not shown in photos yet as its new), a treasure chest and a desk and chair to work at, which make this room excellent for someone studying or working from home.
There are two other bedrooms, so it’s a three bedroom flat.
The flat is on the first and second floors of the building with a roof terrace that gets the sun all day - lots of room for lounging around plus a table and chairs and a barbecue. We've hung bird feeders in the tree which attract parakeets, starlings, various tits, goldfinches and we even had a woodpecker a few times.
The living room is huge and has 2 lovely large sofas and a big oak table and chairs.
There is a bathroom and separate loo. No one is very long in the bathroom in the morning so there's never a clash.
The kitchen is well equipped with all the usual mod cons, plus a breakfast bar and stools.
The flat is on Golborne Road and the street has a fantastic community feel to it - I spoke to more people on the first day here than in all my time at the previous place I lived, so many locally owned shops - its lovely.
Transport links are great.
It's 8 mins to Notting Hill Gate and the Central Line.
Its a 3 minute walk to the bus stop on Ladbroke Grove, where there are loads of buses going both east and west, and a 6 min walk to Ladbroke Grove tube station. If you come home via Ladbroke Grove tube station you will pass a Sainsbury’s and a Tesco’s.
Its also a 7 min walk to Westbourne Park Station, where there are also a number of other bus routes as well. A short bus trip to Kensal Rise also takes you to the London Overground line. Paddington is 10 mins away.
We are just a few doors up from Lisboa the portuguese bakery, there's a butcher across the road, a chemist, a grocery store a few doors down, a Post Office on the street, absolutely loads of places to eat and drink, lots of outside cafes, antique shops, local street market including a fruit and veg stall Thur-Sat, the list goes on. Its a fab and vibrant street.
The Meanwhile Gardens and the canal are just a couple of minutes walk away.
The rent includes all bills, a cleaner once a week for communal areas, all cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and loo rolls. The only thing you would have to buy for yourself is clothes washing liquid.
I work in retail, passionate about wildlife and nature, love socialising, cinema and travelling. Flatmate Patrick works in hospitality, enjoys meals out and catching up with friends. Its a very easy going, friendly, respectful flat and we like to keep the place neat and tidy.
The bedroom is available from 16 August 2025.
I work a range of different hours, including evenings and weekends so its best to message me rather than call me in the first instance and I will get back to you asap.
If you're interested, look forward to hearing from you!
