The landlady lives in the flat barely 40% of the time as she works in other places.
Although there is no traffic or other noise outside the flat, Portobello with it's vibrant life is the next parallel Street. The walk to Ladbroke Grove underground is about equidistant to Notting Hill Gate, and it is well served by buses.
