Sunny Double Room in Old Street

Looking for a vibrant woman to share a 2 bedroom flat next to the City, the Barbican, Shoreditch and Clerkenwell.

The rent is £1000.00 per month plus Gas and Electricity with all other bills included (ie: broadband, council tax, water etc)
G&E depends on consumption but so far we have managed to live comfortably around £140 per month per flat in Winter ( so roughly £70 per person)

The double room is fresh, bright, and south facing.
It includes a built-in wardrobe, a double bed, shelves, a desk, and an armchair.

The flat in itself is very functional and secure. There is a kitchen with plenty of storage - a living room with a dining table, a sofa bed and an armchair, antique furniture and lots and lots of books.

I am also looking for someone to share a chapter of life. The flat, as you'll see, offers both brilliant communal space(s) and privacy. I like to have dinner with friends when possible and whoever shares the flat is always invited to the table. I also regularly have guests for long week ends, not often, but regularly, and flatmates are welcome to put people up on the convertible couch or in their room.
It's a pretty friendly flat, as am I, and we ( the flat and I) will best cope with a good balance of vibrancy and calm. I see myself as a 'young' over forty ( we all say that, I know ) and am looking to share the space with someone with a genuine interest in what this City has to offer and life in general

The location is fantastic: It is situated between Smithfield’s and Hoxton Square, the Barbican centre, and literally next to the London Symphony Orchestra's headquarters....if you like classical music, there are a lot of events happening there for peanuts.

Bus routes: 243 and 55
Tube stations: Northern line, Circle Line, Hammersmith and City and Elizabeth line.

Supermarkets: Waitrose, Tesco, Co-Op, M&S, Aldi.
Food Market on Whitecross Street.

The block of flat is very friendly and there is a good atmosphere between neighbours, we tend to look out for each other.

Non smoker and light drinker essential, as well as willing to keep their room clean and the flat tidy.
