Cute single room Old Street !! Viewings 10 Oct!

Hello everyone!

I’m Alex :) I’m one of the tenants, and together with my two lovely flatmates, we’re looking for a new girl to take over Jenny’s room, as she’ll be moving out on 10 November.

We’d like to start doing viewings quite soon, so we’ll be holding them this Saturday, 10 October, in the morning until 2 pm. Unfortunately, this is the only time we’ll have access to the room for viewings.

It’s a tiny but lovely single room in a two-storey flat on the ground floor of a larger building. We’re only a 5-minute walk from Old Street station (N1 7QF). It’s an amazing area, full of pubs and grocery shops and close to the canals. It’s very central, but without feeling as crowded as central London. The room is also south-facing, so it gets plenty of natural light during the day :)

Bear in mind please, the only pieces of forniture that won't be in the room are the mirror and the chair.

The current tenants are me, Alex, Italian (I’ve been transitioning MTF for about a year, and my pronouns are she/her), Anita, from Austria, and Sabrina, who is also Italian. We’re all working professionals.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a living room, so the kitchen is our only communal space, where we sometimes hang out and socialise. Sabrina’s room is right next to the kitchen on the ground floor, so we try to respect her privacy and keep the noise down, especially if we come home late at night.

We have a bathroom on the first floor and a small additional toilet on the ground floor next to the entrance.

Wi-Fi is not included in the rent, but it’s shared between the four of us, so it works out at around £7 extra per month.

We’re aiming to clean the kitchen, bathroom, stairs and corridors weekly, taking turns between the four of us, so each one would normally do it around once a month. We also try our best to keep everything tidy and clean day to day whenever we use something. We’d love to live with someone who also values a nice home environment, mutual respect and consideration— it makes everyday life so much more peaceful and enjoyable :)

We also like to support one another when needed, and for us it’s important to live with someone who can feel part of the household and enjoy even small moments together — someone approachable and kind, rather than simply a stranger we happen to share a flat with :)

The rent is £525 per month, with a £525 deposit required before the tenancy begins.

We’ll be holding viewings this Saturday, 10 October, in the morning until 2 pm.
